July 4th Tag: A Trip to the Seashore!

Hi Bloggers!
I hope you are all enjoying your summer, and having fun with your summer projects!
This is such a great time of year, the kids are home from school, the pool is open, there's baseball and swimming and camping and family vacations!  Sometimes it's hard to get the time to do your paper crafting!
Since my kids are on their own, with families of their own, summertime for me is now a time where I can enjoy the long hours of daylight, spending hours creating (as much as I can!)  This summer I taught a few classes at Ink Paper Rubber in Overland Park, KS, which kept me creating.  When There is a deadline, I stay on task!.
Here are the projects my students created in July.  I hope you like them!

JULY 4TH TAG AND CARD

Let's skip for a trip to the seashore!
5x6.5 card made with Graphic 45 "A Place in Time" July paper
Hooray for Summertime banner tag

We had two classes and we had so much fun, I just had to snap some photos!

The card uses Graphic 45 Paper "A Place in Time" July page

To make the tag, first we created the background using Distress Stains.
The stamps added texture and made the tag look like old weathered wood.
Doodles thinks this is lots of fun!
There was a lot of fussy cutting that went into the tag.

Mary Kay and JoAnn are working diligently!
Doodles and Becky are concentrating on that fussy cutting!
Wow!  This tag is gorgeous!
Kathy proudly displays her finished tag
Beautiful!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Happy Creating!
